Hey MM!

Just got back my Buck form the taxidermy today! After I shot the buck I noticed that he has a huge chunk taken out from his ear. It seemed to be a pretty old wound and I thought it may have been a lion or bear. Well I completely forgot about until my taxidermy said there was something a little strange about his skull. It seemed to have some type of deformity. Well to me it looks like he was bit in the head at a pretty young age and lived a pretty good life considering he is was about 7 1/2. I have attached a few photos so you guys could give me your thoughts.

My taxidermy scored him at 168! I never would have believed it!! My guess was upper 150's!

LAST EDITED ON Jan-26-05 AT 08:30AM (MST)[p]Probably a lion. Last year I was fleshing an elk cape when my fleshing blade hit something hard. I dug it out and it was half a lion's tooth embedded in the skin. The skull had the same kind of deformity.
Nice looking mount, by the way.

Thanks guys...I was very disgusted when I found out I ruined his cape and had to do a skull mount. Now with the character he has and the hole in his head it doesn't make it so bad after all!
