Has anyone used the hot lips? What was the result, I have always used a reed so am a little skeptical.

It makes cow calling more difficult than it needs to be in my opinion.

In my opinion,the hyper lip single is the best call they have! works great and simple to use.

the primos cow girl works too. i love calling and collect calls so i can use about any call but the mac daddy's are the worst I've ever tried, to easy to mess up with. I'd rather use a diaphragm call then one in a holder better control with your mouth then your finger on a button.
when you hit a bad note on one its a real bad one.
maybe i didn't give it a long enough try but when you are hunting you can't afford a mistake when you have 50 other calls that work every time.
if you want a nice call go to predator masters and get ahold of tyyote he will make you a open reed elk antler tip with great sound and easy to use. they are no more expensive then store bought calls.
it is like using the hyper lip so if you use that you can get one that's a one of a kind.

i actually like the hot lips, never have had a problem with it...like someone said a few posts above, i also buy many calls to experiment with...i have a group that goes into the field with me and the hot lips is one of them...i 2nd the mac daddy being junk as well as the push me calls...woodwise hyper hot is a good one as are the carltons fighting cow and estrus whine, i also like rockie jacobsens who's yrr daddy...just buy some and see what works best for you...
