Sam,
Congrats to you on a great 1st Buck. The only problem you have now is trying to better this one, so your task is at hand.
Which state did you get this Buck??

Brian

Congrats on a great first buck. With a first buck like that, you'll have a hard time getting a bigger one every time.

Nice buck...you've probably already surpassed many people who have hunted for years with that buck. Congrats.

Ya it will be real hard for me to get one bigger. But hunting is not supposed to be easy. I shot this big brute in Haresty Alberta, on private land that I guys lets us use. Three years before this my dad's uncle from Onterio came out and shot a really tall deep forked muley that would score around 170. This year out in Onterio he shot a huge 10 pointer where every tin was 14 inches long(within a 1/4 inch) huge whitetail..

Very nice! Keep up the good work and good luck topping that one. It'll happen for ya, just keep at it. Nice pictures and congratulations!

thanx.. I worked really hard we scouted a muley that was probably 35-45 inches spread. for about 4 days.. and then when we were road hunting we say this bad boy up a hill.. so i crawled under the fence and leaning on my elbow i shot and down he went the shot was about 320 yards

deer gods! Honestly I know there is no such thing as deer gods.. there is only one god.. and he has been good to me.. anyways.. if you wanna call God a deer god than i guess you could say he has been REALLY good to me

Nice job. I see why your friend lets you hunt on his property. If I had property I would let people like you hunt too!

That is a brute...It is great to see kids enjoying the outdoors rather than in front of the T.V....good luck next season, its going to be hard to top that one.

Ya.. this season my dad and I both shot at a potential Alberta Record whitetail. He was huge! My dad shot and shot like 3 inches in front of his upper shoulder.. then he took off.. we followed him through the field and he stopped on the top of the hill..( we decided not to shot becuse we were unaware of what was behind it if I were to miss. Then he came down and ran down the road. and His horns were stickin out of his sides by about a foot. each way.. so his spread was about 30-35 inches.. He was a huge 5x5.. his H1's on each horn were about 6 inchecs.. he was THICK! his G2's were probably 15 inches.. when I say that big guy I new he was a BRUTE!
