32 Inch Ca Buck

I shot this buck a couple of years ago in CA D7 if anyone else hunts this zone Id like to know how you did.

I along with a big group of friends/family hunt up in D-7 every year around the wishon area. Bucks like that are hard to come by. Congrat's on a nice buck, what general area did you get him?

I hunt on the Kaiser side of D7.

Great buck!! Good mass too! Not too familar with D7..did you get him on public or private land?

The majority of D7 is public. And I got this one on public.

I hear Kaiser has been doing good last few years. It seems like its getting harder and harder to get away from the crouds in d-7 whereve you go.Hopefully we will have some horses this year to take us into the backcountry.

D7 is very busy with ten thousand tags and most everybody going to Wishon or Kaiser. But like anywhere else you get five or six hours hike from the nearest rd and youll hardly ever see anyone. The only hunting I do is minimum of three hours backpacking away from rds and never see another hunter.
