Trying to help out a buddy that helped me last year. He has drawn the Imnaha early bull elk tag in Oregon and is looking for some pointers. Any help much appreciated, pm me if you like.
Should be fairly easy to find the bulls just get off the roads and away from the people. I used to hunt this when it was a general season and I have never seen so many elk as we did in this unit... If you get away from the few hunters you should be able to hold out for a 360 plus bull.

Are you sure you were in Imnaha.. My advice would be to take the first legal bull you see.
