Anyone in the SLC-Lehi area have a tag. PM if you do, just curious if you would like to run down there this weekend. Gas is killing me.
 
I was just down there this past weekend. Have you been down there since we ran into you a few weeks ago?
 
Thats to bad that I just saw this today, One of the guys you met left this morning and is by himself for the weekend
 
Proutdoors has a tag down there, I think. Give him a call. I'm sure he would be tickled pink to have some company. <chuckle>

Hey guys, if any of you want a little extra hand scouting or hunting check out High Top Outfitters web site. They are more than willing to help out and have horses available, even if you don't use their guide service.

I know these guys personally, they are based in Richfield. They already have some great bulls located in the 350-380 class this year. Last year they killed more than one 380 class and couldn't find enough permits to hunt other bulls just as big.

Just got back late last night, got distracted by a pretty good buck for a few hours one night, other than that saw a few small bulls, a few cows and no talking at all. Did ALOT of hiking again though and met a few nice hunters. Met a guy that lost his arm and uses a prosthetic to shoot his bow!! Its amazing, he showed me how he does, it was pretty cool.
 
Yeah, there will be NO elk talking for a while. DO NOT give up. They are there, and some are huge.

Thanks for the invite, though this weekend I am meeting family from Cedar City for the hunt. I drove past your guys camp though on Sunday, I talked with Camp California, those guys are pretty entertaining and they told me where your camp was. Are you the one that missed a bull? They said someone in Pro's group missed a bull. The sheep are everywhere below your camp now, I ran into them about 3 miles in, thick as flies!!!!

There aren't any rattlesnakes down there!;-)

No bulls were missed, at least not with an arrow. I am sure we 'missed' spotting several bulls. It was slow, but I got a call today saying things are 'turning' on a bit. Hopefully I can locate a pisscutter to let the wind out of shortly.

I have yet to see a snake, so I am pretty happy about that. I have a good feeling for this weekend, a big stinky might be going down!!

I heard the cool front that came through has got them talking a bit. Leaving tomorrow for the rest of the hunt. I am already there mentally.

No Antimony burgers or Rubys in steaks? Is this a serious hunt this year or just a low budget one?

I plan on eating a few Antimony burgers along the way, got to do laundry a couple of times. I doubt I will hit Ruby's this year.

It is BOTH a serious hunt and low budget. I am NOT heading back to the hotel during the day, and will likely stay out over night a few times. Got to get packed, talk at you all in a couple of weeks!

If you guys need a hot shower after packing big stinky you can come by my moble WILDERNESS hotel room. Its white with a black strip down the side. I will only be there about every 3 to 4 days to re-up on supplies.

Pro, I will be there Saturday for the remainder of the hunt. I will see you on the mountain. If you guys need to showers, you can come by the house, but I will only be coming down every 3 or 4 days to refresh. Chase the big one my way. See you there.

Gotta use some common sense!! Dont really wanna waste alot of time off and gas money when the last 10 days of the hunt are going to be the best, which is when I have my vacation days! But if you got some extra coin laying around send it my way!! Ha
