La Sal La Sal Mountains Elk Hunting Help

I drew out for the La Sal, La Sal Mountain Limited Elk Hunt in Utah but am not familuar with the area or know where to find elk. I am looking for someone who would help guide my hunt, find a nice 360 + monster elk while enjoying the hunting experience. Although I can not afford to pay, I will share some of the elk and let them experience the fun of this hunt. Don't feel too bad. I posted a similar thread on here a while back. Asked the gang to come spend a saturday laying sod in my yard. Even offered free happy meals for lunch and I only had one taker. Then when JB found at that sod was not a supermodel he bailed out also.

I went down there last weekend hunting deer and scouting for elk. I have a muzzleloader elk tag this year. I saw a few bulls, but nothing to big. Well except for a huge bear!!!! There are lots of them down there

I think you best down grade a little on your expectations.A 360 bull might be a little tough to find on that unit.I've hunted it for twenty years and only seen one bull in the 360 range.I'm not saying there not there just saying it might be tough.
