I would just like to give a shout out for the guys in the tan jeep down by the Missouri Flats cmwu area. we were down scouting the pahvant today for deer and we passed a guy in a tan jeep with a 300 class bull in the back, always a good bull when you put it down with a bow and arrow. if your a MM member congrats. As hot as it was down there today I don't know how you could save the meat, The flies were horrible also, I'll bet they could almost carry a carcass away in minutes with this heat and the tons and tons of flies and bees that are out. I have a muzzy elk tag and I am really worried about getting the bull broke down and packed out in this kind of heat, (I guess I should be more worried about putting one down first huh?) I am glad it "will" cool down before then. Anyways, congrats to the bowhunter on the pahvant. It was great to get out, A hint of fall in the air, the smell of cow cabbage, this is definately the best time of year. 1 month countdown till the muzzy comes out and levels out on a big bull!!

GOOD LUCK ON YOUR HUNT DOGWOOD. I ALSO HARVESTED A BULL ON THE PAHVANT ON OPENING DAY OF THE ARCHERY & YES IT'S BEEN VERY HOT. THE KEY IS HAVING ENOUGH GUYS TO HELP QUARTER IT UP & GET IT OFF THE HILL A.S.A.P. WE PACKED MINE OUT & ALL MEAT WAS SAVED THANKS TO MY HELPERS. ANYWAY, GOOD LUCK & HAVE FUN!

That's a dandy for sure! I didn't read much of the posts...did you post a score? Congrats on a great bull!

Not much of anything, we went through in the middle of the day, we were scouting further north and just rode down through there during the middle of the day to kill some time. Sorry
