Well on my fourth stalk attempt on shooter bulls I finally closed the deal last night. Everything went perfect and I was able to take this bull at 25 yards. Not the biggest bull I have seen. Wasn't even the biggest bull in the herd. With his character at 25 yards there was no way I was walking by. What an awesome hunt with great friends and family. I have not had a chance to score him yet. The beams are 57 inches that is as far as I got. I really appreciate my wife, she has been so good to me during this hunt. I am very lucky man. I can't wait for her Muzzleloader hunt, hopefully I can make it up to her.

Congrats on a great bull and it is refreshing to see a smile. I like the character on the top end and his beams. What a sweet cape also. Looks like you made the most of your opportunity, well done.

Awesome bull. I love the points in the back. I wouldn't pass him up either. What unit were you on? Congrats on a great hunt.

WAY COOL BULL! LOVE THE BACK END. WHAT UNIT DID YOU TAKE HIM ON? AGAIN CONGRATS ON THE BULL!

BUGLEMN

wow! i wouldnt pass on him in a million years! not many people can say they've killed a public 8x7 bull with a bow

Who cares what he scores, that is an awesome bull man! Congrats on harvesting such a great elk and thanks for sharing your pictures.

I really love the tops on that bull and congrats on your hunt. I was curious what Gold Tip arrows and broadhead combination you used?

Congrats again!!

Cpongratulations on an outstanding bull and nice elk hunt. It sounds like you must have had a great time with four stalks and multiple bulls in the herd you took this one from.

That's a great looking bull!

Great Bull i wouldn't pass him up either.Looks like a perfect shot i love the picture of the arrow sticking out.

Thanks for all the replies! I am really happy with him. To answer a few question: I was hunting the Beaver unit. I shoot 7595 xt hunter arrows with 100gr G5 striker broadheads. 25 yard quartering away shot. He ran about 50 yards.

Sweet bull, looks like flames coming off his 6ths. What a trophy! 4 stalks and a great kill shot, dosen't get any better than that. Kudos on getting it done with the bow.

Very cool bull! You have every reason to bragabit after harvesting that beast. I bet you saw some sweet scenery down there on the Beav. Congrats.

Thanks for the arrow info. That's the exact same combination I have. Now I just need to go find my bull on Sunday.

Awsome archery bull, The character that bull has is awsome you dont see a bull like that every day. I also love to the the Gold Tip arrows hitting home nice shot!

Great looking bull. Ragardless of score that will be hard to beat. Tons of character.

Congrats on a fine bull with lots of character! looks like another heavy bull from Utah fast becoming land of the giants! He'll make a great mount and one you'll never see duplicated!

Dang, UTodd beat me to it on the "reason to bragabit" comment that I was thinking of. Anyway great bull, that striker sure put a big hole in that sucker, looks like I could stick my arm inside the exit - wow.

Keep the Sun at Your Back and the Wind in Your Face

Very nice bull! Who cares what he scores! Your smile should be high score enough! What a tremendous hunt. Thank you for sharing! Congrats!

Congrates Chad on a beautiful Archery Bull.

There's room for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed taters and gravy.

sweet bull, I have a manti archery tag and will be heading down for the rest of the hunt. I hope they are talking good by then.

A soft touch, a mild arc, and the elk hide blade hits home. Sorry, bad impression of Hot Rod Hundley. Fantastic job of bringing down a beautiful bull in the hottest State for big bulls in the country.

Thats a nice animal!! I def would of taken him with my muzzy-Congrats on what sounds like a great hunt.

nice bull chad i never heard you even drew a tag. I figured i would have heard somethin through the railroad haha

Chad,
Congradulations on taking a great bull! I took a bull last year in Oregon that looks alot like yours.I even got some great trail cam pictures about a month before the season opened ,here they are.
