if your going to fork out the money to go on a guided hunt and have the best chance poss. to shoot a 30"+ muley who would you go with?

Kennedy Hunting Services - his Colorado hunts are pretty phenomenal on a big private ranch. They are not cheap either, but I think he averages in the 180's year in and year out and out of 14 or 16 hunters takes 4 or 5 over 30" yearly.

Best buck I ever saw was a 212 B&C 8x7 not counting the trash but was only 19" Wide inside. Super long tines and long sweeping beams. Incredible buck. That big buck someone posted on here from Mexico is the best buck I have ever seen. What a toad!

I would contact huntsonora. I went on a hunt with him and his outfit a few years ago and can tell you from experience that he knows his stuff....................rf

i would go with Tefren outfitter in Wyoming. Eastmans has been there a few time and i think it would be a good one

Mexico all the way. Mine was 38 this year, but was not like the 220 that was posted. Huntsonora is a good place to start!

To me, it's not about 30 inches, because I've seen a lot of huge deer that odn't reach the 30 inch mark. But I'd go to Canada, either Alberta or BC. If I was really rich, I'd buy one of the Governor's tags and do that. But my lottery tickets have not yet paid off.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-01-05 AT 07:51AM (MST)[p]I will just keep going with my hunting buddies because most of us have already shot 30" bucks all by ourselves. We have no need to use a guide!

Hey IdahoMuley;

I'm back'n your comment on Trefrens. Been there three times, direct close friends there and I will go again. They're really good people and their camp is on that edge of godforsaken country that holds some big boys. 190-4/8 net 35" wide says so.
They are also reasonably priced. You need to be reasonable on the horse abilities and handle the altitude 'cause the country can be pretty rough.

All things considered, cost, people, country...yeh!

thats what i here! hopen to save up enough money to go soon. if you want to pay for me to go and be you huntin partner feel free lol
