Nips,
The winter in 421 has been very wet and very mild. The higher elevations have received abnormally high amounts of snow. The Park Reservoir snow course on the Grand Mesa was at 200% of normal last week. the best part of this is that at the overwintering sites there is hardly any snow, if any due to unseasonably warm temperatures since January 1. In Palisade we have only had a few snowflakes since January 1 and lots of rain.
It should be a good year for the animals.
