Utah Youth Tag HELP!

I drew a youth tag this year (14 years old) and wondered if anyone has any suggestions. I talked to my uncle and he said the southern area (Cedar Mountain) had some good bulls. I then talked to my cousin and he said that there are several good bulls near Vernal. I am confused and my dad has been busy with work to get out scouting. I have been busy with football and haven't been out that much either. Any thoughts or advice?!?

First off welcome to the site.

Second, what part of the state to you call home. That would definatly narrow it down a little for me. And how long are you planning on hunting?

Welcome to the site. There are good bulls all over the state I would pick an area and do my research on that area. Its alot easier after you know where you are going. you need any help give me a hollar.
Good Luck and Great Memories

I am from St. George. However, I have family (grandpa, uncles and cousins, etc.) in Salt Lake. My dad knows of a few spots on Cedar Mountain...but so does everyone else. Also, a lot of that area is private. My dad said that there are a couple of good spots near Webster.

I am planning on only hunting opening weekend (13th & 14th) and then the following weekend as well. I can't miss school or football.

I have a couple of uncles who have hunted up north near Vernal. We might try there the second weekend if we don't see or hear anything on Cedar Mountain.

Thanks. I love this site. My uncle suggested using it and I have spent hours reading all of the stories and comments. Especially the rumors about the Spidey bull!

Anyway, I love hunting and can't wait. I have gone out a couple of times with my dad to scout, but we haven't seen or heard anything yet.
