Scoring Question?

Am i missing something, you can only use the inside spread for scoring purposes.

I have just been curious of why those are on the scoring sheet.

I think the main reason is to
make sure that nobody messes
with the inside spread of the
animal in case it needs to be
panel scored for an award.

Also to help identify the animal.
