LAST EDITED ON Sep-02-08 AT 04:47PM (MST)[p]Won't last very long if "certain" people post... Notice #3 is already missing! Just watch!

I am sure that it is the picture of the Mossback truck parked behind the NO TRESSPASSING sign that went to cell phones all over Sevier County yesterday. I have it on my phone and thought it was pretty dang funny! Even if they did have permission, it was still one funny dang picture!!!!!!! LOL

Soooo! What does Tines Up have to do with all this?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Thank goodness. Hate to hear that there coulda been a problem with all our good friends at Mossback. Keep us posted...

For those who do care, go read my thread titled MONROE ELK HUNT. I've had a few interactions with Doyle Moss and his guides on my hunt, and have posted about my experiences and views. I haven't come across the Tines Up bunch, so know nothing of them.

Dan,
You will find the Tines Up guys are just doing the same thing that the rest of us are doing, enjoying something that they are passionate about.
They are a great group of guys and if you want to watch some great videos, check out what they have. Just got done watching the new Muley video....good stuff!
You will probably run into some of them before your hunt is over, and you will enjoy visiting with them!
Hope to see ya tomorrow..
Rick

Even if the guys didn't have permission, could you honestly say that it would suprise you?

It's a posted sign for people to stay off the land ,UNLESS they have permission to be there.Maybe they have been granted permission, I agree the picture means nothing unless your the land owner and you didn't allow them there...

Judging by the photo, it looks like the Forest Service closed the road by putting a post in the middle of the road, and they dropped a tree across the road to ensure that people don't just drive around the post. There is nothing suspicious about the "PRIVATE PROPERTY KEEP OUT" sign, as long as the driver of that truck has written permission from the land owner to park there. The only thing I can see that raises a question is - how did he keep that white truck so clean with those sloppy muddy roads up there? Maybe mud doesn't stick to the "GUIDE GODS". That's why all this M.M. mud slinging doesn't effect him.

Considering the trail marker looks like those installed by the Forest Service, it could be that the private property sign was placed there giving the impression that the public land is private. Thats an assumption though and I agree that the picture doesn't really say much.

All it shows me that someone woke up a bit earlier and made it to the spot before you. O imagine that~ turns out permission was granted, nice try though, try a little harder next time, and work on that alarm clock.
Thanks

Cracks me up to read the posts on here concerning a pic that means absolutely nothing. Looks suspicious? Maybe the sign is there to keep other ppl out?? please all that is, is a pic of a truck with a sticker on it off of a road in front of a FS sign exactely where it should be. Sounds like they did what they do every year get permission hunt all the areas and score the big bulls

The part that looks suspicious to me is the tree laying across the road, the sign in the road, mossback truck and the infinite stories in the past describing these instances. I think those guys are great and innocent until proven guilty. Good luck to them and everyone else. It just looks suspicious, that's all. I don't know either side in this topic so I'm just commenting on a pic. Is that ok?

1 very intersting photo. i see it sevral ways. some one is posting open ground? or looks like someone could be setting the guy up by putting the sighn up while he is hunting? 1 thing yr after yr we see this and most come to a judgement thats just how it is. even if they never will in there lives meet the guy or hunt with him. so i way the 2. it would take moore balls than most have to drive or run up with the sighn than it would to try and keep others out. i dont put in for thease tags. but next yr i will be putting my boy in. i would sure hate to come onto this some place i spent dallors scouting for him. or to have someone throw up a sighn on me just the same. but we never need permission to hunt public ground right?

I don't know, call me blind but I see something very interesting over the back end of the truck that you all have overlooked. I enhanced the photo just a bit to clarify what i'm seeing. Am i wrong?

your more than welcome to zigga just sayin it sounds an like your makin assumptions. Like because there is an odd character by a bank he is gonna rob it. Just cause it looks sketchy doesnt mean it is and 99% of the time is nothin more than suspicion

It's his ghost! He's haunting them...trying to keep people away from his dead, rotted body and those big antlers.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-04-08 AT 09:07AM (MST)[p] After looking it over I'm betting Photoshop job. Somebody just stuck the sign/post image over a pic of Mossbacks truck. Somebody playing a joke on a buddy and the pic got sent to somebody, and somebody else, and so on...

A Trespassing sign nailed to an old limb planted 12" from the road with no fence in sight? Yea, right.
