where would you ???

hey guys my question to you all is. if you had a 13 yr old boy where would you put him in for a youth tag?? both for deer and elk with a rifle. thanx for your imput guys. i never put in for those tags. so i just have no clue. ken

New mexico for sure! Look at the gila units. If you are talking Utah, the North Slope would be good!

New mexico has some amazing youth hunts for deer and elk. Far better opportunity then the adult hunters recieve

thats a litle far. i was talking the utah hunts. i was thinking like a book cliffs or maybee a monroe or dutton.

Not the Dutton! That is a hard hunt unless you have horses. I would not torture my son with that tag.

Are you talking the Management hunts or the youth hunts? Any of them would be a great beginning to a youth hunters "career"!

youth i beleive. he wants to shoot something bigger than dads. you know how it is. i did the same to mine. 1st yr to. still the beggest buck in the family going on 29 yrs. i would like him to be the 1 who takes it over. with elk as well. thanx for assisting in his quest. ken
