I shot these two bucks in Montana. One in 2003 and the other in 2004. They were shot less then a 1/4 mile from eachother. I was wondering if any of you guys think these bucks are from the same gene pool. Both bucks have long back tines and and crooked brow tines on both bucks. If the buck from 2004 did not have a fourth point on the right side they would almost be the same size. What do you think.

Barney's a brother! A white guy can't dance like that!
LOL!
Those Bucks don't like that close to each other! (not brothers).

I'll be with RACKMASTER on this one. No, I don't think they are brothers. The first buck has good eye guards, the second doesn't. The first buck has good fronts, the second doesn't. The first buck seems to have better mass, the second is thin.....of course that could be due to age too? They might be 4th cousins on the first bucks fathers side and the second bucks mothers side of the great aunt's family that came over from Norway.
Congrats on two nice bucks though.

I think it is the same buck, reincarnated and you shot him again in year two.

They were probably brothers if they were driving an Escalade and listing to Puffy Daddy.

Hmmm, funny but...I think it's the SAME guy in BOTH pictures to me.
