unit 54 landowner tag?

i found a second season landowner tag thinking about taking the plunge is this as good a unit as everyone says or is the second season too early to shoot a good buck?

I have been and will be this week shed hunting
in 54, Can be one of the best units anywhere.
The more the snow the better that 2nd season is.
Dislike it being an open unit for elk at the
