pro told me bout how everyone gives him crap about numbers so I think I'll help him out. I think if u are to calculate harvest data for the last 8 years and use the kills of all bulls over 360 as the y constant the number of cows killed as the x constant and calculate the third sigma of all cow elk harvested as the initial x sub o condition and the first sigma of harvested spikes as the y sub o initial condition and use all this to calculate the ordinry diferential equation to the third power, you know y cubed being the first term in the ode u will result with an expected bull harvest transformed from a time domain stand point to a frrequency domain stand point with respect to drought once you determine a drought severity scale that is. I will let pro figure that one out.

I had a GREAT hunt and enjoyed it more because I spent it with GREAT friends. The weather was hot and the bulls weren't. It was the most difficult season I've ever been apart of for calling. As has been mentioned in other threads, the big guys were not interested in the ladies, and did very little/no bugling. I did pass up several 'good' bulls, I just didn't manage to get one I wanted on the wall into range. My good friend Joe put a 350 bull down on the 2nd to last day that had 20 inch thirds.

Although I came home with my tag intact, I have NO regrets and I had my best hunt ever. I spent 20 days on the mountain chasing elk with my bow with awesome people along to enhance the experience. Already looking forward to the next chance to pursue monster Utah bulls.

Way to go PRO! I little salt and pepper will make that tag taste a lot better.

I got a belly full of that 2 years ago. I was amazed at how satisfying a hunt could be without actually killing an animal - especially with the pressure of these LE tags in Utah. Give your family my best. Time to concentrate on them now.
