Boise Elk??

I am a college student and just moved to boise this year i am from Northern Utah and won't be able to make it down to do much elk hunting so i was wondering if anyone knew of any places around the boise/Nampa area of which you could go and see some nice elk?? I'm not hunting them or anything i just wanna go look at them! If anyone knows of any places it would be really helpful!!

The Owyhees(O-woh-hee's). The game and fish in Idaho swear that the desert herd in there is where the next world record will come from. Don't ask me where they are exactly, but everyone I worked with in Boise swore by that herd?????

did u read the thread bout a 430 owyhee bull. there goes another one of those idawhores talkin bout that desert again. one thing about the owyhees that I can attest to is that if u get a deer tag a 200" muley isn't too much to ask for. arizona strip bucks aint got nothin on that owyhee herd.

Ya, try along(or in ) the freeway between boise and mtn home come dec. and you might get to see a wolf too. J
