ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

I have hunted with Swift Creek Outfitters back in '95 but their Deer camp outside of Afton, WY. hence, the name Swift Creek area.
Send me a PM if you want.

My dad and I did an elk hunt with Swift Creek outfitters 10 years ago. Look elsewhere. Crooked as a dogs hind leg. Send me a pm if you want to talk I'll tell you the whole story and what I witnessed.

I just tried to call you at your work number, not at your work station. I left you a message on your work phone with my number at home.

Check out Lee Livingston Outfitting. Top notch guy and it is a family run outfit. Hunted with him quite a few years ago but would not hesitate to go back (I am dying to go back actually) to Wyoming with him. Just haven't had the funds to go back there as I have been on the DIY hunts the last 12 yrs.

Look into Wyoming Wilderness Outfitters. I hunted with these guys, and know them. Stand up people

LAST EDITED ON Sep-26-08 AT 09:04PM (MST)[p]If I were to go with a Guided hunt again, it would be with the following outfitter, a great guy who has been in the business a long time as was his dad.
Two Oceans Pass Outfitters and owner John Winter and his remote camp on the Two Ocean Pass area is/was President Teddy Roosevelt's favorite camp area, real close to the southern edge boundary of Yellowstone.

I've never hunted with Two Ocean Pass, but I met John Winter at a gas station in Dubois one time. We started talking elk hunting and the Thorofare. Before it was said and done, he had invited me to come over to his ranch for some fishing. I didn't get a chance to take him up on the offer, but he seemed like a real class guy. Bill Perry's camp at the very SE corner of Yellowstone drops some of the biggest bulls to migrate out of the park. I've met him a couple of times and he let us camp at his layover camp one year. He's a good guy, but his hunts aren't cheap...

I second Two Ocean pass outfitting. If I was to do another guided hunt, which I have no plans to, I would probably look real hard into Two Ocean Pass outfitters. I met him at one of the portland sportsman show. Came across as very proffessional and is licensed in great country with good bulls being killed.

I hunted with Triangle X Ranch out of Moose,Wyo. four times back in the 1980's. I had a great time on each hunt. It's a great family owned and run outfit. If it hasn't changed I don't see how you could go wrong. The Turners are a class act family that will make it a memorable hunt for you.

Me and a friend of mine hunted with Yellowstone Outfitters in 07. Went on the early archery. Lynn Madsen guided me to my first archery bull (6x6) My buddy also killed a 6x6. Lynn's a good guy and runs a tight ship. We were at the Hawk's rest camp. We went by Two Oceans camp on the way in. 8 hrs in the saddle one way! Would love to go back during the migration out of the park.

Lynn Madsen learned the guiding business from his father-in-law a long time ago, maybe 20 years now. The old man was Everett Peterson from Afton.
