I can confirm! I'm the proud sister of the man who shot the elk. The elk has unofficially been measured three times. It measures between 335 and 337!

Not in the 300's...It's 437. Second largest in the world if scored typical

Is this the same bull that was rumored to have scored around 455 taken off the Beaver unit by a local last week, or were there two giants killed?

Yes and no. Let me clarify. My brother, Mitch, did help guide a man to a 397 bull a couple of weeks ago. But last Thursday he killed his own bull. The new bull scores 437.

Exclusive rights to the pictures of the 437 bull are being bidded for by magazines.

Given where we are headed (America) - I'd be bidding them photos out also.

Whew, A six by six that scores a whoppin 437 typical. That will be a new world record with the muzzleloader if the score holds. Much congrats to the hunter. It was taken with a muzzle loader wasn't it?

What an awesome Bull!! Congrats to the hunter and also the group. Thanks for the pic's

Great Bull! Congrats to the hunter and his team on the success of a truly impressive animal. Hope to see this in King's and other magazines. Can't wait to read the story!

Congrats to the hunter and the guides for taking one fine trophy. I think that I would have shot this bull before I would have shot spidey. Beautiful typicals turn my crank.

Now that is what we are talking about. What a beautiful bull. Looks like everything finally fell into place for our muzzy hunters. Now we want to see our other great big one that hasnt been posted yet. You know the one that scored somewhere around 435-437. I know that Utah already owns the current WR for muzzy Elk, But will this bull beat it? I was beginning to wonder if our mountains were going to give any of the 400+ this year.Looks like they did.

Hard to beat a typical like that. I love those huge thirds and the fronts that curl up.
