I'm not sure what the deal is but I have been all over the Wasatch Front the past few weeks and haven't seen much at all. I've been up on the Summit down to Lambs, I back packed up on top and slept between Lambs and Milcreek one weekend, hiked from the top of Little Cottonwood across to Milcreek. No elk, very few fresh tracks, no fresh sign, haven't heard a single bugle, grunt, or cow call...is anyone else hunting or seeing any elk anywhere in the Wasatch Front?? It's been frustrating seeing so many hikers too, not that I feel they shouldn't be there either because they should and can, but everytime I seem to feel like i'm away from everyone...there's some dude jogging across a ridge with his dog!! lol. The elk have to be in there somewhere though so i'm hoping someone may have ran into some and won't mind sharing some info. Thanks,

Been out a bunch..... Seen alot of Elk... the opportunity to get off a shot has yet to present its self... but it will.. THe Wasatch is a different animal with virtually no roads, you need to get up high and by the time you get there, its later than you may want it to be ..Start early.. real early.. You have to look for the areas the get the least traffic..
PM me if you need some info..
