All,

I just finished watching this video and loved it!!! I was lucky enough to have a pre-screening of the final cut tonight with friends and family. Prism, did an outstanding job of putting this DVD together.

He put in the time, effort and creativity and truly has produced a GEM of a hunting video. There is sooo many great hunts on this DVD, that it would be hard to pick my favorite.

I watched as he killed his first branch antlered bull in Utah, it grossed 370". Great looking bull with lots of mass and very symetrical!

He takes 2 monster bucks in the video that each gross 190 + Typical.

Loved the pictures and footage of big buck after big buck. Some videoed by Prism and some by Jeff Coldwell, Jeff has some amazing still shots and footage on this video. "AMAZING DEER, no wonder he goes by DeerKing on MM"

I mentioned it in the General Hunting Forum, but this is a must have production. Talk about getting the fever, and I still have to wait 2 months 28 days, 7 hours and 25 minutes to start the hunting year, I can't wait!!!

I feel privelleged to have been able to see this prior to you all. I highly recomend it, and just wanted to share my feedback with you all.

Shortly you will be able to enjoy these awesome hunts too as Prism wraps up production and starts to distribute.

PS. As you watch it, I was the one that helped film the cougar hunt. Although you can't see me, you'll notice it was me by the expert steadiness while flying down a washboardy old road at 30 MPH. Would have been worse except for my uncanny ability to use my arm as a shock absorber.

Yeh, I can't wait to get my DVD. I ordered it from Brian last week so I'm on the pre-order list for when it gets shipped out!!

I know there are some pictures floating around MM with some of the animals harvested on this DVD. I will see if I can get Prism to post some of them to this thread.

cowslayer,
Thanks for the review! Can't wait to get it. Just ordered.

Also, thanks for the warning about the washboardy road. I'll be sure and pick up some Dramamine (car sick pills) LOL

Here's a pic of something besides muleys and elk. This is a Coues deer that will be on the DVD. There are 3 Coues deer hunts, and footage of 5 on the ground-including a buck that gross' over 140"! Two of the kill shots are freaking amazing with one of the best "in air" bullet shots I've seen. You can see the cooper bullet plain as day as it shoots across the screen.

Muleys are my favorite, but Mexican Coues deer are a close second!

I'll get some pics of some other mugs besides mine.

Thanks to those of you who have already purchased the DVD, I don't think you'll be disapointed!

Great looking coues deer.......sounds like a must for everyone especially with the MM connection. Great job Prism........ Thanks, Allen Taylor......

Thanks Bura Nut!

It's kind of fun to have a few of the MM family involved with the deal. I've got a lot of good info, made some new friends, and enjoyed the last 5 years or so here on MM-so it's neat to have the DVD first talked about on here.

Love those Coues deer and can't wait for next January to get here so I can head back to Sonora! I keep thinking about using up my AZ points on a Coues hunt, but I've always wanted to hunt muleys down there-so I'll just keep playing the waiting game down there.

Got the good news today that "Eastmans' Journal" is going to come on board as a sponsor. I've been really lucky to get some great companies to sponsor this first DVD. Shouldn't be much longer now until it hits the streets.

Here's another Coues deer, this buck is on the DVD, but isn't considered one of the 20 hunts. I think we ended up with about 25 animals with on the ground footage-including a 140"+ Coues! It ended up at 115 minutes and will be out the week of the 20th.

Here's a pic of my dad this past fall during the Utah muzzleloader hunt. My family has hunted the same area in the norhteastern region for around 80 years.

My dad will be 73 this August and did a lot of the filming on the DVD. It's pretty neat to see how excited he gets about this whole deal, he's looking forward to filming some more this year, and as long as he's able to, he'll be my number one cameraman.

Another DVD buck taken by a good friend. Awesome kill shot at 200 yards or so. More to come.....

I watched it last night. A lot of action-packed hunts with some humor added to. Well worth the money.

Here's another buck from the DVD. You can pre-purchase the DVD from Monster Muleys it's in the Big Game DVD section.

What do you guys think, should I keep posting pics of animals from the DVD or not?

LAST EDITED ON Jun-11-05 AT 10:07PM (MST)[p]Here's a few pics from my first hunting trip to Alaska for Sitka Deer. As you can tell from the pics it was WET-no deer, no footage on the DVD of this hunt, but some cool pics.

If any of you are hardcore fly fisherman I've got tons of pics of 10-15 pound silvers. We caught a bunch on dries too, it was amazing to say the least.

We ended up flying off of the island we were on while we could. The other option was spend a few days there stuck in a tent. We opted to go fishing-wich was AWESOME......

Some of the locals left some prints.

One of a couple of hundred we caught, fresh from the ocean. Talk about some strong fish. Almost every fish took us into our backing!

That is a very cool photo, I'd love to have a photo of my dad like that.
My dad died when I was 30.
Treasure what ya got.

Those are some big fish! You ever land one of those monster kings on a fly rod?

Last year was my first trip to Alaska. I'm planning on heading up again this August to fish for silvers again. My dream (fishing) trip would be to Argentina or Chile for searun browns.

Till then I'll dream about it. I've got a mexican muley to kill before I tackle browns south of the border!

Here's another bull from the DVD. Lucky for me this hunt took place within minutes from my house. Not much longer and the DVD will be out:)
