The other day I had a call from the Utah F&G telling me My credit card was no good and I had a 24hr time limit to get them a new card or lose my tags (party of 4). I called and gave them a new card, Another lady called back and left a message for me call them, so I did, she told me that I had to get them a new card number too again. I told her I had already did give them a new card number and was everything fine now, She had me wait for a few minutes while she checked,She comes back on the line and tell me that card # such and such wasn't good, I have already had 2 tags brought on this card, as she read the # off to me they had inverted 2 numbers, But they WASN'T going to give me the tags because of their foul-up, I call the credit card company and they told me that NO-ONE had tried to assess the card at all in the last 72 hours. But if I hadn't been able to call them back I would have losted my tags and the people who put in with me. I was out-town but my Wife was home and she then called and let me know.
I hope this don't happen to any-one else.

That is why I wish they would go back to making you send the full amount in with a check up front. This would eliminate alot of headaches of credit card problems and also increase drawing odds a little.I think it is great Arizona went back to the old way money up front or you dont play.

Me too Because the only reason I have this card is for Big Game draws, It has a $5,000 limit so I can put any and all hunt I can draw in several different states on it. But if I have to I will just set money aside in a saving account for the same reason.

Thats why I still send in a check.......... it is rather simple to get the 'hunt acct.' built up. Simply take one year and do nothing but check applications and when the refund comes put it in a different acct.................... yeh, I was tight that first year but now it just is easy going. When I draw a tag, I simply replace the money back to the acct..
Glad it all worked out for you and your buds.

Gator:
Congrats on drawing...what tags did you pick up?

Did you get your Idaho application in? As usual, I am waiting for the last minute to apply, I guess I like the stress (LOL).

I hope your Utah tag drawing luck rubs off on the Idaho permits. That late hunt we talked about should be a good one. The animals we have seen so far this year have great horn growth due to the moisture.

Talk to ya later.
