I drew my archery deer tag for the Eastern Plains hunt in unit 104,105,and 106.We will be hunting primarily in unit 105,and during the heat of the rut.I have never been fortunate enough to hunt them during this time yet.I hunted here last year,and although I didn't tag out,I got to pass up some chances at a couple of 160 class deer,and got to belly-crawl and put on some close encounter stalks on a couple of "Dandy's",with one being a nice 180 caliber buck w/matching kickers,and got about 10 minutes of video of him before running out of light for the footage,AND the Stalk!Maybe this will be the year!!!
