Early Rifle Tag

I am a very happy dude right now. Got colorado unit 74 early rifle tag. Only three months to go.

I have a pretty good idea of what the unit has to offer, but being a non-res not sure how big the bucks are getting now. Have hunted the unit for a while and seen some good bucks in the past.

any suggestions or comments on the buck quality these days.

From what I hear thats a pretty premium tag to have. You should try to get a hold of Rocketman here on MM. He knows the unit and the deer very well and is very helpfull. Good luck !

Ditto what Mr. NY said, get a hold of Rocketman. There was a buck on the cover of Trophy Hunter a few years back that had a guy who shot a buck that qualified for both typ and non typ category on a 74 HCB hunt. Watch out for snow.
