I was surfing around the CDOW website and came across this PDF that has some good information.
I have seen a bunch of questions here regarding different units, so maybe this will serve as a tool for those that aren't getting much info. Once the draw happens, people play things pretty close to the vest....

Here whats included....

Meat donation / proof of sex reg's
Contact numbers / emergency numbers
First aid considerations
Drawing stats
Harvest stats for archery/ muzz/ rifle
Aerial counts
Buck to doe / bull to cow estimates
Age class counts
Public private land percentages
Historical harvest data
...and much more

Towards the end is a breakdown of the units by geographical area... definately a great place to start.

This was put together last year but in light of this years conditions, things can't be much different...if anything they should be better.

I found it particvulary interesting that the buck to doe ratios...more specifically the aerial survey of different age bucks to does really differed from unit to unit. In some cases, you can draw a direct correlation between low tags and high mature buck numbers. More proof that the limited drawing system may be even better than imagined....

Good Luck

Larry, that is great info. I tried finding the same info for s.w. Co. and couldnt find it...... Thanks, Allen Taylor......

Thank you for the link. This is very useful info........... Thanks, Allen Taylor......

Those are actually statistics from 2003 that they published in a book in 2004. You can usually call the CDOW in June or July if you want a printed copy. I've been collecting them since 1999. There's some good info in there, especially when you compare them year to year.....Steve
