It's the emaciated body of a turtle that some no-good poacher from Shelter Cove killed and then left after just taking the shell. Sickening. Sources say it was killed by someone fishing from a kayak. Apparently they killed it and took the the shell and left the body in the water, thinking it would sink in the deep water. But, it washed up on shore.

Bess I think it's a horn hunter that went out at midnight on April 1 and his battery's went dead and he fell in the water and drowned. Then the crawdads ate his azz. All for a stupid horn what a gomer.
