Spring fever

Decided to take a ride up Bountiful Peak today. Almost to the top before you hit some serious snow on a north slope blocking the road. Really nice day up high. Clean air, cool temps, and not a lot of people for a Saturday. Next week will be a camping trip to thousand lakes.

Kayaked up Elk River today. The fishing was not red hot......but my sunburn was. I wore my sunglasses though. I'm over Spring fever.

I booked a Coho trip and the secomd day bottom fish and crab pots in Depoe Bay Oregon for July. Im stoked for a relaxing trip. Hopefully we catch some good eats !!

You sound like your pretty confident your getting that Thousand lakes tag. ? I had a little spring fever last week to.

I was a little higher then Thousand lakes. But close. It was 23 degrees when I woke up Sunday morning.

You can get to Johnson from ether side 2lumpy . The wind was bad this weekend. I could barely get my boat parked in its slip. The Bowery is open. I had a great Bowery burger on Saturday. So you can get lunch on the mountain now.

Probably a weekend, for some of the folks, like 1911, that live over near the edge of the earth, that will need to travel into the interior!!
