Nearing our 39th Wedding Anniversary, "I" deal with the below :-(
I am/was seeking a hot Truck for my youngest Daughter. Like 1911 said: For those just out of Puberty.
Just like an All State Insurance Advertisement, DAD is the last, repeat, The LAST person to be told about an accident or, many other items.
Us Dad's should have a Thousand Man March on Washington DC about this matter. Its more critical than any silly Russian Plot.
Dad's SHOULD be Honored, Respected, Trusted and Females should not VIEW Dad as Mr. "NO"....Mr. "You're In Trouble Kid".
It SEEMS that in the secret zone, Daughter knows that if Mom gets any NEW VEHIC-KA-MAL, Daughter gets Moms Ford Excursion.
This Baby Daughter then has a Modern vehicle and does not need to replace the Radiator (I made her do) on the Family's 1987 Chevy Suburban,
3/4 Ton, 4x4, Work Horse and Family heirloom.... holding endless Hunting Memories.....etc....Has Air but No-Workey, Has Windshield wipers but they go slow.
The Drivers Seat is broken leaning Back, There is and has "Not Been", a Radio....Kids need to watch the Road and not be listening to a Radio....Its the same way in our Reloading Room(s). So Guy's..... Gurrrrr. I offer the Wife a Raptor and she says: If "I" want one, OK, go get one"....But She seeks the below. Triple Gurrrr......
Mom feels this or something similar, inexpensive, great of Mileage = Her commute vehicle.

The above is what Mom desires, or....anything LIKE IT. She can have 1 or 2 of the below but "NO". Quad Triple Gurrrr
I appreciate the hint from 264Mag about ebay Motors. I never thought of it.
Elk, Yes, she walks past the new Ford Eco-Boost daily but No-Way will she get the keys. It's not the vehicle, its I will not Bubble Wrap any child and give them what they desire. They must Earn Calluses in life by the Roads of Hard Work, Never ending College Education, Earning and watching the Penney's = The Dollars will take care of themselves.
I will take a big step back and look for a Truck that has lower mileage and a normal 350 Engine. The towing will need to come later. My Daughter wouldn't care if it had a VW Engine in it as long as it was raised and has big tires. I tend to think many of us go through that phase. If it breaks, both Daughters were raised with tools in their hands and can fix most problems.
Please, keep entering any suggestion.
