I wanted to take a minute to wish all of You Fathers, a Happy Fathers Day, today and every day forward.

My Family has been making me very happy. Yesterday my youngest Daughter made just shy of $7k on the sale of her Beef (FFA) and got 2nd Place in overall.

It seems my Fathers day gift is all year long watching my children excel to higher levels. Or, maybe I simply recognize them all year which in turn, is rewarding.

Jagerdad :)

There must be something weird going on in that house of yours Jag. Those kids keep hitting home runs. Tell her congrats! She did better with that steer than if she'd wacked a 380" bull elk!

Couldn't get my Mind off the Pain that Zeke & his Family is Enduring at this time!

Elk, "I Owe You" for advising me about the loss of a Son.

I may open Campfire and if nothing is there, depart without looking at other forums as I did last year.

I had No Idea. Thank You Elk, You are becoming a loyal friend.

Since elementary school I have had such events near me. I have never forgotten even one and, during any year, always offer a Prayer for each one.

When a Father of one of my closest friends who passed away bumps into me downtown, I see much in his eyes. Then I see a smile and we both relax a tad bit. Such Fathers seem to know what all of his Son's close friends have been doing in life and more so, with their lives. After learning this, I made it a point to visit them at their Homes. They knew their Son would have achieved far more than me so such visits made us both feel better.

Maybe I wrote the above more because I feel a hole in me due to this Fathers Loss. Forgive me for babbling.

Jager you are forgiven, I am a lifelong friend of the "Zeke" and have known Zach since he was a child, nothing can prepare you for the heartache of losing your son and I know Kyle is hurting bad...but he has a great family and a wife who is tougher than all of us. I have confidence that Kyle and family will survive but a hole will be there that will never be filled. Fathers day was very subdued at my house....RIP Zach

Thank You Dikndirt, hearing about the core Family strengths, makes things better....if there can be a better.

Others whom read this may now hold faith understanding your kind words about a Family many of us never met, other than; around this "Campfire".

Thank You

Jagerdad
