That woman is a outright alcoholic to not have passed out with that amount of alcohol in her system. The highest I ever tested was .28. That guy at booking dropped a dime on the floor and was able to bend over and pick it up without stumbling.
He admitted to being a hard core drinker for years.

RELH

Well RELH!

It's Not Everybody that Can Pile a Rig Up with 4 Kids in & Not have any of them get hurt to Bad!

I'd Say She's a Pro!

Highest on a blood test for driving was a :380. Highest on a prelim breath test was over a .600. Some honorable mentions are the fire fighter who drove an engine to an injury crash and was a .160 two hours later. To give you an idea of how insane some bac levels are, the LD 50 is .500. That means that half of all contestants will die at .500.

>Too bad Idaho's DUI law isn't
>.05, that surly would have
>stopped her from driving.

Simmer down puffy. Doesn't take place for well over a year and maybe not even then. Your social agenda is green flag for now so you can stop crying over 3/100ths. Don't go to Colorado though. They already have an .05 level, it's just named differently. You must drive around a lot between .05 and .08 as much as you sob over it.

yep you know me, I'm always driving around just under the limit. BTW, how do you know I even drink?

Which reminds me, We went out to eat in a Mexican restaurant last night in Utah. We stood there in the parking lot for a while because we couldn't tell if it was a restaurant or a bar. Thank god for the sign on the door telling me "This is a restaurant not a bar".

The jail won't take them with out a doctor's release over a .3...one more step in the process.
.05 to .079 is DWAI Driving with ability impaired here in 420 legal. .08 and above DUI Driving under the influence. We did pass a "Felony" DUI here...your fourth one gets you a "F"
Waiting to see the sentences on those Im hoping for DOC time.. The .05 folks scare me..congrats to the Utah Legislature...But leave our Public lands Public.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-29-17 AT 11:48AM (MST)[p]We busted an Army guy at .3. At 2 in the afternoon. He was in uniform and on a tour bus...got a little too rowdy and was dimed out by the driver.

Third in ten years is a felony here...unless it involves an injury crash it gets bumped felony quicker. Speaking on the subject of drinking and driving... over a decade ago I got someone for his 7th and 8th in less than 24 hours. Then the genius decided to jail break one of the vehicles which made it a three felony weekend.

.30 was enough to kill Def Leppards Steve Clark back in 1991, he mixed a little morphine in for good measure, but other prescription drugs could cause the same thing I would bet.

It's going to be interesting the next few years. Heroin is making a comeback like cocaine at a Beverly Hills party. There is also a slug of pure fentynol taking the country by storm. There should be no shortage of work for medical examiners

LAST EDITED ON Jul-01-17 AT 08:38PM (MST)[p]Back in the day while I was working as a booking officer at the county jail, a trooper brought a guy that was out driving on the road that blew a .42 . After searching him in I walked him over to the "drunk tank" and as we were walking over there, he asked if he could just go down in the pit and go through the booking process. He said he didn't need to go sleep it off and just wanted to hurry the process up. I told him he was gonna go in there for a couple of hours but that I would check on him shortly. The guy stood at the cell door for a couple of hours asking to come out. I made a deal with him if he could do more push-ups than me I would let him out. The guy did thirty something push-ups (at .42 bac). The booking Sgt wondered what the hell was going in when he saw me over by the drunk tank doing push-ups. Needless to say he was a functioning alcoholic.
