Eel, you ever run

It won't let me view. I don't have a facebook account.

I see a pineapple roll and a press roll and a bank of saws. We had something like that, but it was home made in our machine shop. We called it the "Tree Killer".

It was a 3 or 4 bladed saw run by creek water hooked up to a turbine of some sort. Looked to be about a 1000 years old.

Figured you might have seen one.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-29-17 AT 10:09PM (MST)[p]Now that I see the video...those are sash gang saws. Short sections of band type saws. One of his mills in Weaverville had a sash gang.

Ours used round saws and the feed rate was about 130'/minute. We ran logs back to back for 8 hrs.

We cut about 200,000 board ft. of finished lumber per day or about 1 million ft. a week.
