Fishing yesterday

It was good but too many big trees that were blown down blocking our way to 3 other lakes.
The snowpack had melted just enough although we had one really hairy spot to sidehill over.
We saw Moose, a big Muley,Antelope and Sage Hens. Burma Pass was scenic!

Lol Bess, that's my Uncle at the trailhead. He said he didn't like the trail. I think quite a few people don't like rocky trails. If it keeps some people from going I'm ok with that !

It is the Copper Basin. I caught 9 , Judy caught 2 and my Uncle caught 1. If we could have gone to other lakes that would have been fun. By this weekend all the trees will be off the trails.

Got to call BS on big trees blocking the way, Just tell the truth, you all ran out of beer and snacks and had to turn around and come back and now next weekend you will know better and load up with more. Good pictures and fun times.

Jager saw the photos and said I should post them here.

My son caught has first fish and then some. We caught many of these Bay Bass we threw back, as well as Sand Bass, nearly a half-dozen rays, a Leopard Shark and two Sand Sharks. We brought home one of the Sand Sharks and ate it Sunday night.

We also got deer tags in the draw this year, so I'll be looking for a guide to help us fill them.
