A four-year, traditional university is supposed to be a place of learning, of understanding, of safety and security. However, there is an element among us who may be frustrating those goals: Veterans.

UCCS is known for its number of veterans who are full and part-time students. But these veterans of much of the school prides themselves on may be hurting the university.

First off, many veterans openly mock the ideas of diversity and safe spaces for vulnerable members of society. This is directly in contradiction to the mission of UCCS. Many veterans utter the mantra that they, "do not see color". But the problem lies in their socialization into the military culture that is that of a white supremacist organization. They have been permanently tainted, and are no long fit for a four-year university.

Second, many students are frightened by the presence of veterans in their classrooms. Veterans usually have an overwhelming presence in the classroom, which can distract other students. This is usually true for vulnerable individual such as LGBTQQI2SAA, who have been known to be the butt of insensitive jokes made by veterans.

Finally, veterans usually are associated with extremists right-wing groups such as the tea party and the NRA. In order to provide a safe place for all students, extremist right-wing groups must be suppressed on campus. This would include their followers: veterans.

That is not to say that veterans should not be allowed an education. Veterans should be allowed to attend trade schools, or maybe even community college. But, in order to protect our academic institutions we must ban veterans from four-year universities.

Someone's commentary to stir things up. Unless funding is strictly private, exclusion is unlikely to fly in the long run.

So we have some knucklehead leftist kook who may or may not even have been an alumni of that university, posting a letter supposedly in the interest of inclusion, saying that all US military veterans should be excluded from all four year college campuses. Wow. I wonder if this knucklehead has ANY CLUE how many of us there really are?

Sadly we are living in a time when things are happening that fifty years ago we would have said could never happen in this country.

I have to ask though, what is the QQI2SAA part of LGBTQQI2SAA?

And Trump is right--today it's the Confederate statues. Tomorrow it will be the founding fathers themselves, and after that they gut the Constitution itself.

Some of these morons are completely and absolutely ignorant of history, but others are not. I've heard for years that there are two kinds of liberals (and that should probably say LEFTISTS). There are the liars and the LIED TO.

Do they have ANY clue what even goes on in the rest of the world today, outside of the US and outside of their cozy little sheltered university lives? (cozy and secure, courtesy of the US military and LEOs around the country, many of whom are also military veterans, and many of whom are still currently serving as reservists!) AND GUN OWNERS!

I remember after the 2004 election, some of the liberal kooks were calling for a revolution and a Civil War. Then somebody pointed out "Psst... You do realize our side has all the guns, right?"

Tea Party and NRA are extremists? I forget myself--who founded the NRA?

Oh, that's right!

"'As TIME's Richard Lacayo explained in a 1990 feature about the group, "The N.R.A. was founded in 1871 by a group of former Union Army officers dismayed that so many Northern soldiers, often poorly trained, had been scarcely capable of using their weapons.'"

Yeah, those extremist and white supremacist Union soldiers who fought to free the slaves, and I suppose in the left wing universe, even Abraham Lincoln was a white supremacist?

And there were these "extremist" US Presidents who were members of the NRA:
Ulysses S. Grant
Theodore Roosevelt
William H. Taft
Dwight D. Eisenhower
John F. Kennedy
Richard M. Nixon
Ronald Reagan
George H.W. Bush

For shame!

(Ok, maybe the left WOULD point at the last three and say "See! Toldja so!")

Or these "extremists" who supported gun ownership:

I wonder if these knuckleheads have any idea the blood that has been shed by whites to rectify the thing that the founding fathers shelved in order to CREATE THE MORE PERFECT UNION? What other nation on this Earth has ever self-corrected in that way? I wonder if they have ANY CLUE who John Brown was? Or that it was Democrats who opposed the abolition of slavery? Or that it was Democrats who wanted to impose gun control to keep freed and escaped slaves from having the means to fight for their own freedom?

I would hope that one day the African-American community will wake up and learn that they have been almost entirely hornswaggled and exploited by the Democrats ever since LBJ and his Great Society and war on poverty BS... and I can't even write the quote here, but essentially he said that he would have the entire African-American community voting Democrat until the cows come home, and he has succeeded to the tune of about 90% or better!

The scary part of that is that we would likely see race riots like no part of the world has ever seen. That blood will be on the hands of Democrats ever since LBJ, but many Republicans and many blacks will die as well.

Blacks in America today are being exploited by the same Democrats who opposed abolition of slavery, and who opposed reconstruction and reunification as Lincoln would have had it, and opposed civil rights... And they get to stand there and call Republicans extremists and white supremacists and get away with it, all because of LBJ's failed war on poverty.

It's all transference; everything they accuse the right of doing is EXACTLY what they do themselves. They call us haters, but I have always seen all the hate coming from their side. Remember the "Sarah Palin is a C___" T-Shirts? I know Republicans who weren't fond of her, but you'd never see them wearing a "Hillary is a C___" T-Shirt.

There were the horrible PhotoShopped images of Sarah Palin's Down's baby, made to look like some kind of demon child from hell. WHO DOES THAT?!?! It ain't the supposed extremist right, and it ain't veterans!

My nephew is a veteran and goes there. F### these puzzie libs, we need to fight them and keep them in Denver. Jackwagons are starting to leach into every community.
