I am a Ford guy true blue, have had several Ford trucks. Today I had to take my F-150 in for oil change and maintenance and because I live so far from Work had to rent an vehicle for a day. They rented my a new Chevy truck. I have to say it has nice power but the suspension is God awful and the truck is big and bulky. Not really impressed.

What is your preference and if not American what brand and why

I don't think brand matters. I feel they're all comparable. I've owned more Fords than GM and was impressed with all of them. I had an 2003 F150 that I bought new and drove hassle free for 13 years and 193,000 miles. I bought new a GMC 1500 in 2016 and like it so far. I own a 2011 Super Duty and love it. I had a Ram 3500 with a V 10 as a work truck and it was a great truck. I have never had an import but it seems like the Toyota Trundra is real good.

I guess I can't answer that. I'm a car guy and like them all.

I had a new ford f350 in 2008, drove it for two years, piece of junk. Bought a new 2010 Dodge 2500, after many many times to the shop it seems to be ok now, went through 3 turbos. Bought a Nissan Frontier which is a great truck so far, 30k miles not one problem. Now that Ford said they support the NFL kneelers, I will never own another Ford.
