Tire rotation question

Si I used Tundra last year, had brand new tires when purchased. After 6000miles I had them rotated at one of the bigger tire shops in the country. about 5000 more miles I had extreme wear and cupping truck rode like #####. So I took them to be rotated at the other big shop, guy came out and said they are a directional tire and whoever rotated them had tham running backwards causing extreme wear. Probably cost me 20,000 miles of life.
Should I go back to the first shop and tell them they owe me new tires? 35" mud tires

Man......that's a tough one. I'd be pissed. Def go back to the first tire store and tell em what happened. See what they can do for you. Strange how they didn't know they were directional.

Cancer doesn't discriminate...don't take your good health for granted because it can be gone in a heartbeat. Please go back and read the last line. This time really understand what it says.

Usually x the fronts and bring the rears forward. X'ing the fronts changed the direction.

Directional tires mounted wrong will cause very poor wet traction. But more wear? No.

Wheel balance, front end alignment, inflation pressure, or doing donuts....those would affect wear.

What tire are we talking about? Have you had the front suspension checked out? Ball joints and such...
