Thanks for a great season Rockies,,,finally we have a good young pitching staff. See you next spring.

I was hoping they would pull off the upset. Sure hope the D-backs can handle the Dodger boys. Seriously though - these are some monster teams that are left and it is going to be an awesome post-season to watch.

Yeah - not a big Dodger fan since Kirk Gibson ripped my 16 year old heart out in 1988. I wasn't a big A's fan then either, just loved the Bash Bro's, and Eckersley.

I still wouldn't say I am a Giants fan necessarily but I really respected them during their title runs over the last decade. Great teams!

Did you see though that Matt Cain retired? Looks like the end of the dynasty. This write up gave me goosebumps though:

Thanks for that Roy. I became a SF Giants fan back in 1958, (I was 10) the year they moved to the west coast. Dad took me to a game and they won. Not only that, I caught a foul ball hit by Ken Boyer, third baseman for the Cardinals. It took them 54 years to win a WS but I was with them the entire way.

Something very special about baseball compared to other sports. Not sure what it is but I hope every fan can experience it the way I did.
