Helicopter chasing elk opening morning

On September 16, 2017-the opening day of the limited entry rifle elk hunt at first light, we witnessed a helicopter in the Red Creek area (north and east of Current Creek reservoir) flying at tree height back and forth which appeared to be driving the elk onto the private ranches in the area. By the time I grabbed my phone to video/take pictures the helicopter was too far away to get any tail numbers. If you happened to be in the area and witnessed this as well, and were able to get video or pictures of the helicopter please let me know. This is absolutely ridiculous!!! You wait 20 years to draw a tag and spend countless hours and money scouting only to have all the elk driven from the area you were planning on hunting. We saw 1 lone spike all weekend in the area.

As low as it was there is a good chance it's on a trail cam somewhere.

Back Me Off to 1,700 Yards,650 is a Little Close & I'm Not Comfortable with it!

A GUT SHOT at 1,700 Yards will Still Make Some Good BRAGGIN Rights so I Can Say I At Least Hit Him!
