Fire Dept asking for your help

The below showed up on a friends Facebook ( I don't have FB ).
If you are or can be in the area to give such items, possibly call and see what "Location" the Fire Field Kitchen is at or where to bring foods and liquids.

Main SANTA ROSA Fire Department on Sonoma Ave next to the Police Department is in need of food for the Fire Fighters asking for Gatorade, Lunch Meats, cheese, breads, fresh fruits and Bottled Water. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE HELP AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!! PLEASE REPOST!!!

Kind of a strange request. Every fire camp I've seen or heard of in CA. has so much food there's no way the firemen could eat it all. This might not be the fire camp, but I'm sure the fireman fighting fires could go to the camp and get all those things. Maybe this is a request for donations for the people who lost houses?
