+1

He's running backwards but he was right the first time, the inmates have taken over the institution.

The inmates took over the dairy farm in Bethel, New York in 1969.

They were drawing attention to social injustice in 1969, and they have been running the system every since.

If you don't like the NFL now, give the inmates a little more time, the second round of entertainment has just begun.

It all comes down to respect! If a person does'nt show it, they're not gonna get it. Or should I say "they sure as Hell don't deserve it." 'The Greatest Generation is nearly gone from this earth, this is what we have left.

Again.... I am Lost and do not understand. I thought the Original Post was about some new Movie in Down Town Theaters ( I never go to them ) and then the 1st post is about Inmates.

I actually do quite well with Inmates. I am very Comfortable in their closest tight huddles and tiny rooms.

Maybe I see everyone as a Potential New friend. Such folks can also read ( Street Smarts ) whom may be calm yet, able to rip the head off of anyone.

Yes, we are Pack Animals. So, I wrote into my DVR the name of the DW Movie and got zero. I sure must be a slow happy guy. Sometimes not understanding is just fine with me.

Jagerdad :)

2Lumpy, I apologize for misunderstanding your Post. I actually saw Inmates as Inmates, Jail Inmates. My Bad.

DW, I am honored by "YOUR SERVICE" and respect you also for the man and friend you are.

Jagerdad :)

Hey Jager, no problem, I should be the one apologizing to DW, for hijacking his post.

I associated DW's "Thank You For Your Service" and his NFL reference with disrespect for our servicemen by the NFL players kneeling again this week, during the anthem, sung in honor of those who have served us all so honorable, including those taking a knee and it triggered my thoughts as to what I believe to be the root of the current NFL mess.

These so called social injustice issues, wherein those who have been helped the most, by the people they despise the most, continually bit the hands that feeds them. The more that is done to help them, the more they despise the effort.

It's madness and saddens me to see what they are turning our country into, which I think the "Woodstock" farm so clearly demonstrates.

With all the drugs at Woodstock, I've heard it said that if you remember Woodstock, you weren't there. Probably a lot of truth to that.

....and before they fried their 100 billion neurons they parlayed their sh1thouse ideology throughout every facet of our cities, universities, businesses, courts, and legislature.

No apologies necessary men, were just chattin. I should have put a link to the movie in the OP. Movie was based on a true story, touches on the reason for project 22, a true current national travesty. My dad served in Vietnam and is of the opinion chit started headed down hill about the same time. The older I get the more I believe he's right! Thanx for the kind words!

Your Father was absolutely right DW.

It started on the university campuses, with the Beatnik culture in the late 1950's and morphed into the Hippy movement ("if it feels good, do it" culture) in the mid-1960's during Kennedy and Johnson's war in Vietnam (which I supported in the 1960's and still do, because it slowed the expansion of Communism throughout the world), then the SDS - Students For A Democratic Society, the Revolutionary Youth Movement, followed by the Black Panthers and their complementaries the Weather Underground. All of these movement where incubated by leftist on college campuses and their anti-American/anarchy/socialism/communist ideology was successfully woven into the fabric of every subject and discipline of study, in every publicly funded educational institution.

I was an 18 year old teenager in the 1960s and I've watched with horror, for the last 60 years, as this "social injustice" tool has been used to dismantle the country, from the time it was cloaked in leotards, bongo drums, and marijauna, to where is now proudly dressed in Madison Ave suits and Salvatore Ferragamo shoes. Started by the likes of Allen Ginsberg and Jack Kerouac the founders of the Beat generation, based on their admiration for the hustlers, drug addicts, and petty thieves, to the likes of George Soros, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Warren Buffet, Hollywood, ESPN, Time Warner, and 75% of our State and Federal politicians, and the one world government elitists and intellectuals.

If you don't believe it has been done by design, your kidding yourself.

I've watch every single movement that has brought us to the conditions we are dealing with today. It made me sick in 1963 and it makes me sick today!!

Please know your Father is my hero!!!

Well stated 2lumpy (DC), you hit it on the head. We must be of the same age as I graduated in the mid 60's and served in Vietnam in 68-69. I've seen the same thing and you described it perfect.

Thank you arrow, all of you Vietnam vets are my heros. The leftist media that abused and belittled you men and women, that served our country so well, under such impossible social and political leftist propaganda, have never gotten the respect you earned, even though in recent years there has finally been some recognition of your heroic efforts on our behalf.

I hope you and the others can look back now, after all these years and know we appreciate your terrific sacrifice.
