A GUT SHOT at 1,700 Yards will Still Make Some Good BRAGGIN Rights so I Can Say I At Least Hit Him!

My dream hunt of finding a big buck in Area 231 kinda "went south" a little. Didn't even want to post but I will for you. I never even saw any really big bucks, but lots and lots of little ones I passed on what turned out to be the biggest on the first TEN mins. of my "hunt" (STILL a "piscutter"!). I had four days to hunt at season's end, but ended up going to Las Vegas and Utah for family matters. So, I got one that is what you might call a "SUB-piscutter" LOL! Even had a guide friend wanting to put me on a nice 4pt.- Too Late! I had a great season. My middle son is following in Dad's footsteps! His "piscutter" 3pt.!
Oh yeah...and another "shooter" in my books...wrong species!LOL!

Looks like a pretty good season to me!
