Back Me Off to 1,700 Yards,650 is a Little Close & I'm Not Comfortable with it!

A GUT SHOT at 1,700 Yards will Still Make Some Good BRAGGIN Rights so I Can Say I At Least Hit Him!

Well.. I went 95 ft over a jump I should've only went 70 ft on. Shattered both ankles, 21 days in 2 different hospitals. 3 surgeries, over 24 hours in surgery. Wheelchair, scooter, crutches, I killed him yesterday, first day I got to wear 2 boots!

61 yard shot, he went about 150 yards, 70 of which he was falling down a steep hill in the north Dakota badlands. A great friend tracked and gutted him for me and I was able to get the truck to him so it worked well!

that looks painful I have pins in my right ankle and boy does it hurt when it's cold.

Hope for a full recovery and nice buck to boot.

Congrats

Glad to see you are improving and have a positive attitude to get out and do things.

I hope you are OK with getting felt up because that's what is going to happen every time you go through airport security now. That's what happens to me most of the time.

Damn 86 thats some Home Depot level chit ya got going there.
I had 13 pins a post and a T bracket added to my wrist. KTC told me I'd feel
it when it got cold. Ain't felt a thing yet and man do I feel lucky. No loss
in shooting the flip stick or shotgun.

Hope the same back your way.

"If the DWR was just doing its job, and
wildlife and hunting were the actual focus,
none of this process would even matter.
But that is not the focus or the goal in any
of this. The current DWR regime, and
SFW were born out of wildlife declines,
and are currently operated and funded
under that paradigm. Those 200 Expo
tags would not even be worth anything if
the focus was where it was supposed to
be, and wildlife and tags were plentiful.
But under the current business model,
that is how the money and power is
generated. It is generated through the
rising "value"(monitization) of a declining
resource. A resource that is supposed to
be being beneficially managed for the
masses that own that resource, ie. US.
The problem is obvious, hedging is not a
long term sustainable strategy, and
others have to lose, for some to win. In
this case it is us, the many, and our
resources, that are being forced to lose,
because there is a minority who's power
and money is derived from our loses."

Kenny that looked like it hurt. Old guys like me would of just roll over and part company with this side.
Glad to see that you're up and about.
