How can you even consider abandoning all those sweet little ladies, young and old. I'm sure they take the first one they see, huh. Just like giving candy to a baby.

It mercifully came to an end today...Lol

There is a tree shortage and will be for awhile. There was a glut for awhile, and so some tree farmers switched to Hazelnuts. Now there is a tree shortage. Tree cones (seeds) was pretty much a failure this year too, so there won't be a lot of seedlings to plant in the immediate future.

No matter. This is my last year.

Merry Christmas everyone! It's all about giving, remember.

For the record, the 870 trees was the second delivery. The first truck and trailer load had 900+...for a total of 1800 trees.

Thanks, DC. I went much further with my career than I thought possible.

Filed for SS last month, now, the easy life, right?

My wife's wounds have healed to the point where she will be home for good and I will be home full time to take care of the little stuff.

Now all I gotta do is wring out that new Cooper and see how it shoots.

Eelgrass, how long does it take to sell that amount of trees roughly?

I too enjoy donating my time its an awesome feeling. Mrs Sikora and I help out at the local food pantry. I try to make everyone feel important and I can always get the kids laughing. You would not believe how many people want to apologize for coming there. I tell them if they weren't there I wouldn't have a job. LOL

We set up on Thanksgiving Day and usually finish around the 20th of December. And we do offer free delivery to the cute single ladies.

And free candy canes to anyone who wants one.

We'll put a fresh cut on the trunk so it drinks water better and load the tree in or on your vehicle. That's my job.

But this was my last year. I'm retiring from the tree business.
