That Father used his head and kept his cool to take down a armed criminal. Another reason why I have always advocated law abiding citizens should have the right to carry concealed to protect themselves and their family.
Cops like me almost always show up late to take a report instead of being there when a citizen needs us most to protect them.
Years ago I conducted a search of justified shootings and found that for every shooting of a criminal by a law enforcement officer, there was 3 justified shootings by a armed citizen.
