I processed out yesterday after 35 years on the job.

I had a 7 year break in service while I ran Llama Adventure Treks on my Forest Service Permit, above Flaming Gorge Lake on the North Slope of the Uinta's.

I feel good about it!

Welcome to an amazing new world. It's the reward for all those years of planning, good management, and moving those chess players into the right positions.

You won.

Congratulations, time to enjoy the fruits of your labors.

Cool. Based on your past, I'm betting you have some interesting adventures planned. May they all be as rewarding as you imagine they will be.

From this day forward I'll refer to you as Hasbean.. :D

All the best to both of you "ole" boys.

Rob,

I think they denied your retirement paperwork because you didn't have me sign item #7 on your out-processing checklist. :)

Congrats! I know you won't have trouble keeping busy.

Congrats to you Robb and also you too Fred on the retirements now you will find that you don't have enough time to do everything you want to do in a day........enjoy the freedom of mind.

I have been curious about that also, "what is a Bean Man".

Is he a farmer that grows beans?

Is he an Account? A bean counter?

Or, Is he someone who just likes to eat beans and everyone around him knows it?

A BeanMan: I ran the Foundation Dry Bean Seed program for Colorado State University and cooperated with CSU?s dry bean breeding program to increase all new seed crosses and field trial dry bean experiments in western Colorado. The seed program was in western Colorado because of our very low humidity so our seeds did not carry bacterial diseases which are endemic in more humid climates where dry beans are grown commercially. Start with disease free seed and most farmers won't have apply pesticides to attempt to control disease.
