Seems like there are 100's of Camp/5th wheel Trailers with Different Names on them?

Anybody know or have a Ratings Chart that show the Best ones/Brands built?

Thanks!

LAST EDITED ON Feb-23-18 AT 07:39PM (MST)[p]Just came out last month. This helps a lot, so you can figure out where they are made and if they are Eastern or Western models. Manufacturers like Forest River make dozen of brands with the identical floor plans and just label them different. Ours out here typically have larger water and waste tanks, more clearance, and sometimes better build quality. Other things to consider are stick & tin construction or laminated. Sided RV's need to usually have cold weather packages, or you use up all your propane trying to keep them warm. Some of the laminated side RV's are only one inch walls where others are 1 1/2". Tougher and warmer.

Getting soft? I thought you were a teepee fan.

NVBighorn, I really wish to buy your Kitty. I have cats indoors and out. Yours would be as you tell me to have it.

Yes, Elk has $$$$$$$$$$$$$ to BLOW and desires comfort. hence, a good Businessman, yet never near as good as BigJohnT :)

I desire someone to invite "ME" to go Hunting Elk with them. Yes, I wish Comfort also + a Chef and a Piggy-Back up-down any terrains. Elk can do such but "HE" does not know me or regard me as a FRIEND.

:-( :-( :-(

But, with my F-150 Turbo Boost, I could be Elks taxi to Hooters :)

Maybe I should just go with BigJohnT and have trust he will provide.

Hints... I have zero hunting Plans or Invites for this fall. Help Me, Help Me.....

Jagerdad :)

I Hear You on that Horsecorn!:D

And Hardway Had to be a SMART-ASS!:D

My wife and I got a new Forrest River travel trailer in 2013, it was one problem after another, we traded it in 2016 for a Keystone and the Keystone has been great, much better quality built, fit and finish is better, everything works like it's supposed to, zero problems so far

Bess I've had 2 prowlers and I've had 2 cougars And they were good trailers.Bought a weekender because the wife liked the floor plan it was a piece of $hit.I have a 5-wheel cougar now and really like it.

I like the Toy Haulers. Nice to put your four wheel inside. Because we all know how you love your four wheeler. You saw mine. Ten years old and I still love it. Weekend Warriors just started buliding trailers again.

The Heater in My Four Wheeler was working better than the other Four Wheelers,LOL!:D

I really think it's hit or miss with quality. Most the components are similar if not the same (from brand to brand). I think a lot of it comes down to the quality of the actual assembly. I've had many people with many different RV?s tell me how disappointed they were with quality. I've had 2 toy haulers. I bought a 2016 Iconic built by Eclipse. It's been okay but right out of the gate I've had small issues. I think this is a pretty common thing among all RV?s. Overall though I really love the layout and finishes on my trailer. I think regardless of what you buy, you're going to end up working on it.

Don't buy a KZ!!!! If you buy new, buy it from a local dealer. Had a Komfort and the KZ that spent more time in the shop that at home/on the road. It's a crap shoot, emphasis in 'crap.'
