Dear Elk (Diesel Man)....

Please watch the lower 2nd Video. At 9 min it slightly changes to Diesel power yet all before it (9 min) also matters.

https://www.roadandtrack.com/car-cu...videos/a29999/how-much-a-turbo-blanket-helps/

I have no clue why or how but due to Eels Post on the ebikes, I have been caught up in such studies. Like I mentioned, I am clueless how I reached this video but it must be Eels F.A.U.L.T. or BigJohnT's (Love yah BigJohnT. DW. 2lumpy and 1911, NVBighorn and.... ).

Everyone, (Even Overton & DeerHunter53) Knocking on Elks Front Door in the cold winter days of {This Friendly Forum Group} is not mean.

So Elk, do I need a Blanket for my F-150 Turbo Boost = ????

Does folks running soot belchers need such a Blanket = ?

Does Eels ebike benefit from such a Blanket over a Battery on our Pacific Coast [ or up in altamonts frozen tundra ... ? ]

Or, is this Post Question simply bothersome 2 U .... ?

Elk, I have zero manners to have you out joking. This is as you term it, friendly Raz'n U. No ill intentions meant or intended.

Yet Science is neat and I do wonder about this Blanket and my F-150 Hot-Rod.

Jagerdad :)

I'm checking into a turbo blanket for the front sprocket of my ebike. It gets pretty hot. :D

LAST EDITED ON Mar-05-18 AT 08:35AM (MST)[p]That's why you watch your EGT gauge or have a system that shuts down your fuel. When you EGT's get to high. Plus a blanket would make cooking my tin foil dinner take that much longer. :)

When your egt's get to high a simple down shift will knock them egt's down
