My wife and I were on our way to take an early spring drive and had to fuel up before we got too far into the sorta unplanned trip.

As I pulled in to the station lot, I forget the name (its a national chain of fuel stations) I notice what I first assumed to be an employee (in uniform of the station) plunging her stick-gauge to determine how much gas was in a given tank.

As I pull up to the pump, I realize that she is not gauging for fuel level, but has a sort of 'super soaker' looking device and she is sucking liquid out of said tank, and squirting what now appears to be tan/brownish gas onto the asphalt...where it will eventually meet the storm drains.

I would guess there to be about 10 gallons pumped out. And the fumes were very, very evident from 40-50 feet away, even with the windows up.

Two things...Imma not buy gas at that station, not ever. And, I don't wanna get burned, so, we left.

Called 911 to report it; local SO was there in less than half a block. 911 operator asked why I didn't hang around.....

We need to know what station and what town? That way we can skip it also. I don't think I want that in my tank.

Your exactly right. See in his first post he says he can't remember the chains name, then produces the name and location perfectly later?? Must be helping with the Mueler investigation.......:)
