A lot better price then I paid for mine. They are clearing out old inventory. That is the old model. I do like the fine focus adjustment on the old style better then the new version. The glass and everything else is basically the same optic. I have the 65 mm and the 85 mm . When you buy Vortex you can afford to buy two.

I take them every where. The Swarovski I don't like to throw in my atv box and beat the crap out of. So the Vortex are good enough and easy to send back when I vibrate them apart. They come back as good as new. A great warranty.

Thanks BIGJOHNT...I appreciate the feedback. My debate is that should I buy a newer 85mm model.

I ended up buying this exact model. The reason I chose this one instead of the 85 was because of the weight difference. I could not see myself lugging the 85 and its tripod in my backpack for 12 miles a day. The fine tune went out on mine, but Vortex fixed that no questions asked. It came back to me looking brand new again, and I know it didn't look so nice when I mailed it off to them. Love their warranty.

I prefer the 85 mm. It always seems the bigger animals are coming out at last light. So I always carry the 85 mm. They are on Camofire right now if you want one.
